I was having the worst day you could have, car wouldn't start, baby was crying, and I'm stuck at home. So I decided to get on EVE and do a little market moving. I bought around $200m worth of goods to move to our 0.0 station. Mainly ammo and a few T2 rigs I seen we needed.
Well after about 3 hours of market trading on my neutral toon, I contracted the stuff over to my 0.0 character. I logged into my null sec character and went out ratting in the belts for a little while. After about an hour of boredom since no fleets were up, I contracted the stuff to be moved to our pickup system. Once the contract was completed I logged off for a few hours.
Well I was bored at home again and decided to get on the alliance team speak and login to the server. Someone from the alliance was talking about a spy in our corp, yes OUR CORP. So I listened for a few minutes, and started re-fitting my myrmidon with my new blasters. Then someone spoke up and told me "sorry but you have to go" and I'm like wtf.... little did I know that our alliance had been dissolved.
According to our corp's CEO someone in our alliance had been foolishly given TS and Corp rights and was booting everyone from our Corp. Hell, I just joined this damn corp and have over $400m in the system... needless to say I packed it all up in my freight container and setup a courier to get it out of the system and back into high sec.
Our Corp CEO assures us that everything is okay and the alliance nub has been removed. According to the CEO we'll be back in the corp in 24 hours. Until then we have to stay docked and wait. If we get back in the alliance I have no idea what's going to happen. Our CEO is talking about staying in this alliance on a sort of probation system, or we'll probably join a whole other NC corp elsewhere. So far we've move our pickup locations out of high sec and down to a 0.4 system, which sucks because I don't like hauling to 0.4 in my mammoth. I suppose I could use my freighter but that's just overkill. All in all I hope this crap blows over soon.

First rule in Null Sec
Actually this is the first rule in any PVP, don't fly a ship you're not willing to lose. Well this has never rang more true to me until today. I was in our alliance system ratting the belts out of boredom, and due to the fact that only 20 or so alliance members were on and no fleets were up.
So I fit up my Myrmidon for a little 0.0 ratting, flew to the nearest belt on the menu, and for about an hour or so, it was as you would expect ratting to be, a little boring, but still challenging, but the 5m ISK I made was worth it. Someone said there were some hostiles in system on the alliance chat, so I docked for a little while, went and made some coffee, and waited for them to leave.
During my waiting period I decided to assemble my Dominix and figured I'd take it out ratting. Nothing major fitted on it (due to my 3.4m SP) just some 250mm rails, a neut, kinetic armor setup (reps etc...), and of course a web and MWD. Being that our system is out of T2 reps and turrets, I can't set the Domi up to tank, except for NPC's.
Once I was happy fitting the Domi, and checked Local, I headed out to the belts. Here's my first mistake, minimizing local (local chat)..... This is something you don't want to do, especially in 0.0. I had this preconceived notion that my corp mates or alliance, or even the two on TS would warn if some hostiles were in the system.
Boy was I wrong. After literally 5 minutes of ratting I found a good BS spawn. I launched my crappy T1 drones (damn 6 days till I get T2), initiated Damage Control II, activated Tracking Computer, and commenced to launch my rails at them. A minute or so into the fight, I get hit amazingly hard... at this point I'm thinking the other BS hit me with something.
By this time a pack of drones come in and I know I'm being attacked, I look around and find a little cruiser hitting me, and hitting me hard... I'm scrambled an can't seem to get the hell out so I SOS in alliance, only to have three guys say they're on their way. Well no shield, no armor, and 80% hull later, they arrive. The attacker takes his focus off of me, then two more cruisers appear, I get bombed, and needless to say, I was podded.
I ran like hell back to base with my tail between my legs. I was completely caught off guard. This was definitely a learning experience, haha. Now I always keep local chat open, and spread top to bottom on the left of my screen. I've also learned to not rely on my corp mates or alliance to realize there's a hostile in the system. Go figure! I believe the only bright side of this was that insurance paid for my ship, haha, 16m isk for a 40m isk ship... oh well I've had it for awhile anyhow.

What to say and where to start?
I've played EVE for a few months now, probably around six, had a "fat wallet" as a corp member put it, and a noobish mentality. When I started in eve, I wanted to get ahead as quickly as possible, and possibly the best way to do it, from what I know now, was to either buy a pre-trained toon, or train learning skills and cybernetics first, then train as planned for what ever you want to do.
However, with my so called "fat wallet" and noob mentality, I purchased Plex's to resell, and even purchased a pre-made POS corp for like 500mil, bad idea. After running a yearly expense report in EMMA, I'm in the hole 2.6bil, yes that's a "BILLION".... oh my what a mistake... It wasn't until I renewed my subscription again last month that I came to the conclusion that I need to join an experienced corp and find some actual FUN.
For the longest time I've been in a 3 man personal corp, but I wanted more out of EVE. So I typed in the recruiting channel that I wanted to join a corp, not any corp, but a 0.0 corp, and one willing to basically teach me PVP. My skills are all across the board and only a few have been maxed, probably 5 or so. Being that my toon has somewhere around 3.4m SP, I was declined by a few, but one corp picked me up and to my astonishment, even offered to jump all my stuff to the base, and even had a TS(Team Speak) server, that's awesome by itself.
It wasn't until I actually fleeted up with the guys that I realized how organized a fleet is in null sec. In high sec I've fleeted up with a few people, and absolutely none of them have been this organized and verbal on TS. Calling orders, requesting backup, and so much more, it's just awesome. Now me being a COD (Call of Duty) freak using comms is absolutely required, and the shear fact that I've found a corp that uses TS every time someone is on, is absolutely amazing to me.
Prior to making this move to complete 0.0 and dissolving my corp, I was debating on just letting my subscription go and leave everything hovering in space, well that's changed!
